Here are my new beauties, I couldn't resist sharing a couple of pics with you, I think they have the most wonderful shells: When they are fully extended they have the longest, thinnest 'foot' I've ever seen! I'm so delighted with them. ;D ;D ;D

I really like these snails, was very tempted to get some (nearly did but the order fell through) and now I don't think I dare! I'm wussing out. But they are stunning.
Good luck with them ;D

I've heard different things about the difficulty of these tbh. I think I'm up to the challenge, they've been happy since they arrived.

I got a lot of info from the person who sold me them, no mention of a lemon tree tho! I do like that idea, at the mo they've just got some branches to climb on and i prop the food up on there. Will do something groovy with their tank tomorrow and might put up a pic if I'm pleased with it.

I've kept these and mine bred as well, they aren't that difficult to keep but being tree snails obviously they need stuff to climb on and also like to find their food 'up the tree' I also tied their cuttlefish onto a branch. They don't need it too warm but like it quite damp I used to spray their branches twice a day. No, they don't need a lemon tree, they just enjoy climbing on one and eating it if it is there. I will try to find a pic of the set up which I had.

I will just echo what Val said. Keep them cooler than the african species (room temp seems ideal) and spray daily. I filled their tank will branches and attached all food and cuttlefish etc to them as high up as I could. This proved very successful. I found they never went onto the floor of the tank so I was able to grow some plants down there that they didn't go near. I also found them to be quite nervous and they did best when left alone. I will try and dig out some of the pics of my setup but I have no idea where they will be so it might take some time.
Goodluck with them though, they are a great species. Brian.
