This is the worst I've seen that I can think of. This is an Archachatina species 'Lagos', one that I've raised from an egg, the parent of which passed away a few weeks ago. This parent had laid several clutches of eggs after being on it's own for ages (suddeny started to lay), All of the first batch of eggs hatched (5), two were albinos which died, I gave one to someone, another died, and this ended up being the sole remainer of the batch. After that several more batches were laid but only two others hatched, both of which are still with me today. So I have this little soul who I'm quite attached to, he's always seemed like a robust and active little fella, and he has two younger siblings, but I have my doubt that he'll live. I've gently nudged his body back into his shell, placed him on a cucumber slice on wet kitchen towel, and folded some kitchen towel over him to keep him moist. It doesn't fully enclose him. All I can do now is hope for the best.......

I'm sad to say he crawled out of his kitchen roll and crawled up the glass. At some point his shell came off completely. He was up the glass and his shell was on the ground. I attempted to push his body back in but it was bulging out, and there was no way it was going to fit. He then just crawled straight back out of his shell. It was completely futile so I put him out of his misery. Poor little fella..... I did take a couple of pics of him hanging on the side of the tank out of his shell, as I was amazed to see him like that, I was going to post them on here but I won't. Should anyone wish to see it I will PM them the pictures, but they're not nice to look at.
