I tried last night with a little bit of joke put shrimps and little bit of boiled egg on snails plate they ate all the shrimps. It's was so cute when they very eating pinkish food first time. Boiled egg lost to lovely shrimps. When autumn is arriving I'm going to find some seeds from wild to see do they like them. Sweet potato I'll try again last time I made too thick slices and didn't awaken an appetite in snails. I have noticed that sometimes if food isn't really looking tempting they will won't try new stuff.

I bought yesterday some rucola and rambutan fruit. They have been eating both and Fulica is munching rambutan now, it's mild and sweet tasting seems to enjoy eating of it. And in the end pic of rambutan blog.schillerxana.info/rambutan.jpg

That's an unusual fruit I don't think I've ever seen them in our shops. Your snails have a very varied diet.

Those spikes dry a little bit they feel funny rough when you touch it. My poor dog thinks that empty skis are some animal and it have to attact and "killed" by biting. I don't by that fruit very often it's about 14euros on kilo. But I think if snails eat it all I will buy it sometime often just for snails.

By the way I renamed all my 3baby snails which I have had since they were born. I named one of them Rambutan 'cos it has so much white color in it's shell and Rambutans flesh is white. I tried to give my snails that I have had longer some carrot stems not really keen to eat them, but moment ago I put some steam in new arrivals tank, one started munch stems right away. Two others just slime away they had something more important in their "minds"

I bought today some new treat to snails; date. I washed date under running water and rub wax of it and halve it. It seems to be good, they almost ate all of the peel not the flesh yet, hmm maybe they later eat flesh too.
