Hi just baught 3 of these lovely snailies. The girl I baught them from said they are Rhodei but I have been trying to find more info and found some pics that look exactly like these little lovelies. They were listed on the landsnails.org site as egregia. Does anyone have these or know which snaily they are please.

Lol they will, my rodatzi is having an identity crisis he thinks he's a retic and keeps making snaily advances to my big retic. He is obviously not fussy. Lol.

Lol they will, my rodatzi is having an identity crisis he thinks he's a retic and keeps making snaily advances to my big retic. He is obviously not fussy. Lol. Fulica are silly that way though, two of mine had a crush on my poor Ewert the late Tiger snail, and he was terrified. One time, Ewert did his own burrow wrong and couldn't come up without falling down again. Tauno the jadatzi rodatzi cross snailed to him halfway through the tank, offered him the tip of his shell to cling to, and he actually lifted Ewert up once he took hold of the shell tip. I was watching the whole time, amazed by the cooperation. Then Tauno got a new look in his eyes and on his cheek, and turned to give some big slimy kisses. Ewert RAN away!

Yeah Mauno never got that kind of attention either when he lived with the fulica. He would have had less fear about it too, being the chilly cosmopolitan snail he is. But no, they only had eyes for Ewert out of the wrong guys. The other day Tauno tried to woo a baby snail when he was actually sitting on Halonen. I touched his face to make him stop, he looked around, remembered who he was sitting on, and then started patting and kissing the big mama instead. Oh boy.

I remember that Etana it was abi=out the same time I had the poor Immac's falling in love with Marrow and to a lessor extent Maple. It was so funny to watch the crazy thing both immacs were in the same tank n both interested in gettig the groove on but with the wrong species. Marrow, Maple and the other Bulldozers really were NOT impressed at the idea . And promply ousted the Immac's outta the flower pot they both finally gave in and slimed up ontop of the flower pot and met n fell in love. So the story go's on to over 100 eggs later n they are still very much in love . Talking of which Marrow and Maple have sure been busy again I found another cluch of eggs tonite and some of there eggs that I kept back a few weeks ago also hatched and I now have 4 tiny baby bulldozers who are really cute . It looks so far like 2 are cream footed and the other 2 are either silver or pale grey but that could change when I finally get to see them out n sliming around. Zorst

Yes Jo, yours aren't sexually mature just yet so they just pat each other and give tiny kisses, but they will be soon. Then they will get crushes and be aroused (hilariously so - some 'teenage' snails are aroused by food, bathing, you, anything really haha) and there's romance, but they're unable to mate for a few more months as they're too close to each others' ages. Sometime around Christmas you may find your first eggs.
