Oh yes they do dance under the tap! (My late old Rudolf used to also break into a dance when I misted him, no matter what he was doing, but no one else loves just the misting bottle THAT much.)
Make it a very gentle stream of luke-warm water and watch the joy! Are you able to stand for that long to see for yourself (as you can maybe imagine it takes a while for them to dare to do it) or should I try to film a video for you?
Pro: All the life lessons and "how-to"s you learn from snails! Such as:
- If something displeases you, the first thing you do should be making very angry faces it and cussing. Don't bottle up the feelings!
- If you don't have to get up, DON'T! Rest all the time you possibly can.
- If something really is the best thing in the world, don't hide it. Eat your favourite food with all your senses (staring at it from 1mm apart etc). Run to the one you love, and get to know everyone who lives near you. Always remember to kiss last goodbyes if you know it's time for you to go.
- Looking after everyone's babies is beneficial for the community's future.
- If you feel you need to be very careful with something or someone, a touch as soft and gentle as you could bear to do with your own eye is a good start.
- Waiting in line can be hard to learn, but it's worth it.
- Don't let anyone treat you horribly. Get your friends to sit on him if you aren't big enough to do it alone (or clever enough to trap him otherwise).
- Don't let anyone tell you that you can't go somewhere because you're so small and slow. Be creative, be brave and take your time.
Con: The slightly suspicious stuff such as:
- If someone doesn't love you back, be DESPERATE. Stick to them. Sleep on them. Poop on them. They'll be convinced in the end.
- A bath tub that is edible is just the best. For pooping in, too.
- Food that someone thinks has gone "bad", soil from next to fresh food, and food that already has been eaten once or twice can be amazing.
- If you don't know what it is but you've proven it's safe to touch, taste it.
Lol suddenly I can't think of much suspicious stuff to learn from snails! They're not so bad, are they?
