I hope it is alright to post this here, I wasn't sure which topic it came under.
Just to let you know why I haven't been on. Paul was taken to hospital a couple of nights ago and they have found fluid on the lung and apparently he has pneumonia. He is stable and apparently happily watching his foot ball. However they have found sclerosis of the liver but only on the outside but it is treatable I did not have a very nice birthday yesterday.
I will keep you all updated.
Lots of love jo xx

Thanks hun, I really appreciate that. Unfortunately he has deteriorated slightly so you can imagine how I felt when I heard this. He is in Intensive Care, has a one to one nurse and he is on a ventilator. To say I am worried is an understatement.
Hugs JO xx

The news is not good. The doctor rang me this afternoon and gave me the low-down. Most of which I knew already but he is critically ill. She said she has seen cases like this where the patient makes a full recovery and those where they don't, so please keep everything crossed for me. You can all just imagine how I feel and I am dreading that phone call from the hospital. He will also be in there for weeks maybe longer if he does make it.
Hugs JO xx

Jo, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband Your both in my prayers and thoughts. Pnumonia is very nasty I survived double pnumonia, bronchitus, Pluresy and an existing Lung disease combined. 3 years ago I was in very simlar circumstances. It took a lot of work by the Dr's and lung specilists here and for me not to give up or give in but I got thorough it and more importantly survived it.
I have lost a lung though as its so full of scar tissue its now use less. This was already started with my existing Farmers lung years before and is why the infection got so bad in me. I'm learning to live with things and managing to do so, I only say this so that you know it can be beaten.
He's in the best place possible just be there and support him as best you can. But stay strong in yourself. And please keep us posted one what happens.
Virtual Hug

Jo has not been active here since the 19th of June. I'm contacting her personally. This silence is making me fear the worst.
