Wow! How long have I been absent from this website? Feels like quite some time, and I see that it could do for some activity so I decided to create this strange, mystifying poll! 😆

Welcome back GTS! I wonder if I know what you're getting at, we'll see! Thanks! By the sound of it, you'd only trust them depending on the species and the goods they'll be transporting?

Welcome back hunni, what would you be wanting them to tow please lol? Hugs Jo xx Thanks Jo. I didn't really have any specific materials in mind, but I guess we can say groceries or general department goods.

Ok, so if I had to be a little more realistic, I do believe that achatina achatina could pull a small, light case of pencils. As for something like cepaea nemoralis, maybe they..... honestly I'm not even sure what they could handle! 🤣

Interesting thought or sure, Marrow used to drag things around the biggest I saw him move was an upside down light weight food bowl that he dug underneath and got hooked over his shell. It sure was funny to watch but then again so were most of his antics.
The funniest him trying to sneek up on the other snails food by slimeing his way across the top of the tank , not realizeing that every one could see his huge shell hanging down LOL.

They have such cute and crafty little ways don't they Zorst love? I have a couple who love to hog the water bowl so no one else can get in. I usually have to end up moving them if they are there for too long so that someone else can have a turn LOL!

I ended up with 3 water bowls in Marrow's tank whilst he was here. He still has them that way the others get to share there water bowls as he always likes to hog his fave one lol.

I would like to provide anther water bowl Zorst hunni but I am worried about diminishing their floor space. I noticed last night that Sidney managed to get in there first and Golly was just glaring at him. I told Golly that he must take turns lol!

Hehe my Margies (Marrow's kids and grand kids) drag stuff around too, the weirdest thing recently was when they put the strawberry house into a flower pot, and the whole thing, with a few snails inside, was in the bath tub! Somehow, someone once also dragged a cuttlefish bone up a decorative root, some 15 cm off the tank floor. I still don't know how they did it.

So some snails do haul/tow on their own.
