Yes it's a very good site. i especially like the back-ground information on where these snails originate, and their history in captivity. It's also great to see the clarification you have made with regards people's past mix-ups with species names, and also possible theories of what the Lagos unidentified species may be. Good advice on identification too, and I'm going to re-examine my Margies, I'm no longer certain that mine are Ovum! It's clear, concise and informative

Thanks What colour columella does your margies have? with some ovum its not possible to see the apricot colour without gently pushing back the Snails body, the outer part is blue or white. Ive updated the Megalobulimus section of the site today, I'll be adding lots more info on different species of Snails, and other inverts later this week.

If theres definitly no sign of yellow/orange they would probably be Archachatina marginata var. marginata.

Thanks kevin, I suppose it would be eaier for me to tell if the retract, but they don't tend to do so, at least not all the way into their shells. I like the Megalobulimus information, again I have learned things I didn't know it would be great if both of the sub-species are established incaptivity, but especially the Trinidad, as if I'm correct, it's hard to import these now x

Last time the company who sells them on ebay went to collect them they werent able to bring any back unfortunatly, even though they are a pest species there.
