lol - My three albino retics, and they are albino, have orange bodies, especially on their under-side. When I got them one was white and to were very pale lemon yellow-white, but now all three have turned orange in places. One is still fairly white in top but the other two are noticeably tinged, and their bellies are quite bright! It's worse after eating sweet potato. Has anyone else found this with any of their albinos? None of my other species are affected. ;D

How old are they?
I know mine look like aliens after eating Courgettes and their bodies are a tint of green.
Maybe the case of the "nearly" invisible snails showing off their dinner
Tigs ;D
Photos?

I remember being emailed about orange skinned reticulata that someone was keeping in Germany (or Austria?) they were also huge apparantly, well over 20cm shell length.

I've got a question, that's sort of related, but not really...
if I brought up one of my babies on exculsively beetroot, would he become beetroot coloured? I guess noone will actually know, I might have to conduct an experiment, try it for a week or something to test...

Possibly, but I think it's most liekly if it's an albino.
Plus only my Retics have had this discolouration.

My albino retics are also orange on their foot, don't think it's food related though!

I noticed last night that one of my albino retics has an orange tail, whilst the other is completely white and I don't think mine is food related either

My white margies are orange tinged around the foot, as for beetroot, it does turn the snails pink, but only temporarily. They do look pretty though! Pink is my favourite colour .

I have an "old" albino fulica ( white jade ) that was white fleshed when I got it, and is now a yellow/brown colour. I have had iredalei darken when they get older as well.
