I've noticed that quite a few people put growing plants in with their snails. I'd love to do this but really need to know which plants are best.... any ideas? Hope I'm posting this in the right place! Heather

I have ivy, ficus and potus in with them in small pots. Not sure if those are the proper names in english, sorry.
I also put in parsley, but that died after a couple of weeks.
I don't really know which ones are ok or not, but I do make sure I wash them well before putting them in with the snails, to remove any possible traces of insecticide or chemicals.

Thanks - I was wondering about Ivy - I have some that I've grown from a cutting and organically, so hopefully that might be OK. I'll give it a go!

I've found cress is very easy to grow and if you have any woodlice they will really like it. If it's near a window you should have enough light to get some plants to grow slowly at the front of the tank.

I've got some bamboo stems growing in my main tank, I think they look really effective, does anyone know if pothos (devils ivy) is good to go in with snails?

I don't know many plant names either, but all of our plants have latin names, as well as English names, and perhaps the latin names are the same around the world?
