I am currently snail-less but I have found that GALS favourites were sweet potato, peppers, banana & porridge. Basically they would eat almost any fruit/veg although they were never that fond of apple, melon or any of the "fancier" lettuces that have a slight scent to them (if that makes sense ) My banana-porridge was definately a hit though ;D With smaller species such as Zachrysia and pleurodonte I found they preferred leafy greens such as soft lettuce but would generally take most things offered (even apple & melon). I had most success when I fed the smaller species with very thin slices of food and I sometimes hung it from the sides of their tubs or attached it to branches as they seemed to eat more when it was off of the floor. With the GALS i just dumped it in a bowl and let them bulldoze it Brian.

I've tried alot of things, they dont like pepper (they sorta like the green pepper though) Or mushrooms. Mine tend to eat cucumber, spinach, lettuce, carrot and cabbage. The treats are sweetcorn, ham (washed) and apple.
