I was wondering if anyone has tried their snails on beans or if it is ok for them to eat beans? I always have things like string beans, green beans, trim beans and sugar snap peas in and wondered if they are ok for my snailies to eat. Have tried trim beans once with my big ones and they had a few nibbles and left them. I give them the usual stuff sweet potato, courgette, cucumber, flat lettuce etc and want to vary their diet. Any suggestions? Thanks Jo ;D

I've tried green beens but my snails weren't interested.
My Megas have nibbled on pea shoots though (organic from Tesco, my kids love 'em too)
You could try tomato (Tigers especially go for these) and Bonio dog bistcuits, unflavoured plain type.

I've tried all my snailies with bog biscuits. They nibble on them then leave them. The biscuits tend to go mouldy very quickly with the high humudity. Think I have fussy snailies. They won't try tomato even the cherry toms. I'll try the different beans I have some sugar snap peas in my kids love them too. I'll let you know how I get on. I suppose it's trial and error. Is there anything that I should not give them? I've heard celery is bad for them. Jo x
