I have two adult Fulicas at the moment and I'm thinking of getting a much bigger tank for them very soon. I like the thought of two or three margies (preferably albino), but I was just wondering what other species do well in Fulica conditions.
oh and I must mention that the species would have to be different enough not to breed with my fulicas.

There are numerous reports of the Immacs Rasping other snails and eventually killing them.
Personally i have never seen this but havent risked it either.
Tigs ;D

Achatina immaculata will regulary attack and kill other Snails, Ive found this out personally, as well as several other people.

awww, ok, I knew there was one species that you're not to put with them, I couldn't remember which it was, I'll probably have to try and get all my babies sold then, as I'm a little short on tank space.

Thats a shame as they are great snails. Really active and a hardy species.

Really active and a hardy species. yeah, I'd say they are probably the best species of African Snails to keep, very active and hardy, definitly worth keeping in a species tank. Tigs, how are your immac's doing that you found in South Africa? have they laid any eggs?

I was thinking about putting my Fulica with an Iredalei....I assumed they couldn't breed because Iredalei are live bearers even though they're both Achatina....Does anyone know for sure before I purchase one?

Hmmm yeah, sorry for making doubly sure, but I guess it does make sense that they wouldn't be able to breed

Okay, so I'm still sorting out what species I'll have in the big tank.
1 Fulica 2 albino suturalis 1 iredalei
I have room for one more if they were all fully grown.
If I put my tiger in there, he would cross breed with the fulica, am I right? Would a retic breed with the fulica too (since they're both achatina egg-layers)?

I think it's not very likely for your tiger to cross breed with the fulica, maybe more so the retic but still either one would, imo, make a good addition.
