I found this little slug curled up inside a hole in the sand of our sandpit today, I find them each year in there when I lift up the lid for the first time in the year. I think it's a Limax but I'm not sure what kind. It's slightly greenish, more so than in the pictures. Yup - that's a red woodlouse in the background!

Well we find centipedes, spiders, common woodlice, slugs and other things each year, it's a brick-built pit with a large wooden lid cut into seven sections (the pit's approx 3 x 5 foot, large enough for several kids to sit in and play) ;D
