A member here has passed on a useful tip...... To help with raising a tank's humidity and keeping that humidity up for a while, spray the tank lid. Afterwards there should be a steady drip of water for quite a while.

I`ve got glass tops but if you have screens and you`re going to do this tip, you can get drippers can`t you ! for humidity, you could use one of those maybe....

Ah but the sides just cause the water to drip down to the soil. I've been told the top drips more over the general tank area.
I've not tried it, but I'v been told it's pretty good.
