right its not nice , but i found it amongst all my other rubbish you can see the transparent bubble at the front , this was a bad case in an adult rescued tiger from brixton , so being adult i would guess there is more expulsion

That certainly looks like it Karen. Thank you for getting that picture for me. I had no luck finding anything online on my own. What causes it though? I'm mostly worried as two of them had it at the exact same time.

ive had a few of my wild caught rescue tigers do it ,its horribly unpleasant especially if the animal does not die right away , for the rescues i think its how they have been kept while at the market , complete lack of food , dehydration and internal parasites and stress may all contribute, and ive often wondered if snails kept together can possibly trigger another snail into doing the same thing ,as they often do it at a similar time but thats just one of my wild theories ,it could be coincidence for captive snails i just dont know , especially youngsters , my thoughts would be something they ate dident suit , or an internal defect that was there from birth , but i really dont know in all honesty , i hope it wont happen for you again , its just not nice

I have the babies in quite cramped conditions with the eggs still. That's the only factor I can think of that can be improved so I'll transfer the hatchlings to another tank tonight. I just hope it'll be warm enough in there until I can get a second heatmat for it.
I won't be giving them spinach again just in case.

Hmm.. I started wondering if snails ate spinach. Spinach has this Oxalic Acid.. Vegetables high in oxalates may stop calcium intake, so if they had ate it very much, then they got some kind of chemical reaction? www.petsnails.co.uk/docs/oxalates.html

My sisters snails has this too, I don't think she actually washes the food she gives it either.
One of hers got it last night, she said before it died a long white thing came out of the bubble

Hmm.. Maybe it's some kind of parasite? It would be interesting if people would sent their snails which has odd way to die in somewhere to get some autopsy. So they would get info off dead snail and learn maybe avoid it happen again..

I was talking to my sister a few nights ago and her other snail died, I told her to tell me what happened in detail. She said that out of it's neck (where it's slong hides) came a long white thing which just fully came out. Then the snail would move abit then a huge white bubble would come out of it's neck too and then it burt. Which then the snail would die.
