Hmmmmm ...... I made my own chilli flakes once by drying chillis in the sun, chopping , then drying more ect ect until I had really good flakes ! I`m wondering if we can make really nice vegetable flakes ourselves.......

I`m wondering if we can make really nice vegetable flakes ourselves....... Oh well that's a point. Maybe. When I was little I had a flower press. Used to press and dry quite a few plants. Would this be a way of making flakes I wonder - pressing the water out of them?

I think flakes r easier to make if you use cheese slicer etc or slice chilies very thin and then let them dry and the will break to them selves when they are drying and when you mix them little bit so they dry evenly.

I bought turtle pellets yesterday for the snails, similar to fish food but with extra calcium. I've not given it to them yet though. I'll let you know if they like it.

I'm keen to try something similar like turtle or iguana food of cos not the mst expensive that what I can afford. And it was so hot yesterday in organic food store that I wasn't interested to look seeds for snails from there next time I think I buy something for snails.
