Hi all, I managed to get a bottle of the "exo terra calcium liquid supplement" cheap, is it ok to use with snails? I think its the same as snail strong but not 100% sure. It contains calcium chloride and calcium lactate. Thanks

I have some liquid calcium, it's not the same brand though, but it's strong. I put a few drops into water dishes for the snails sometimes. Though there's different types of calcium I don't know of any type that is harmful.

One of my snail-minded friends uses this - she hasn't had any problems with it...
She uses it in their water dish and in their snail mash!

I paid £4 , normally the shop wants £4.80 but the box was damaged. It worked out cheaper than buying online (p&p) and everywhere else round here charges about 5.50. might not seem a huge saving but my cats decided to have another seizure and hammys got a weird skin thing that could turn into a tumour, so the vet bills are kinda swamping even with ma & da helping out.

I know what you mean, i just sold the car as the bill to keep it on the road was OTT. i may buy one again in a year or so not sure yet - dont really need one. Sorry to hear about the health problems with the animals. I hope all that turns out good for you. All the best Ade and family
