Does anyone ever give their snails Mooli or know if they can eat it, I got one cheap to try but would like to give my snails some if they can eat it (its huge).

I think Mooli, being a radish, is hot isn`t it? Like a chilli or an onion, it doesn`t sound suitable I must say, at all.....

Yes you can give it a try. Snails always leave food which are too strong to their taste alone. Some snails like different foods some even eats swedes and different kinds of veges which used in stewpots to give taste. Some like strong flavour some don't.

i've just tried some and am definately not giving them it, its way strong, stronger than normal radishes they've rejected.

Crossless, the onion family and the chilli family are very bad for snails. Although snails can tell if food isn`t good, something like onion or chillis is capable of causing harm or death on contact. Offering snails these foods is a terrible idea, you shouldn`t offer them these foods any more than you should give them vinegar to bathe in lol They can tell what is good to eat, but they can`t tell that if they put their mouths onto the chilli pepper you`ve just given them, that it will burn them, they rely on you, the keeper and your knowledge of snail keeping for that.....
