Hi,
wheheh... since two days it is here. A tank for my A. reticulata and Ar. marginata suturalis... want to write a bit... I'm bored. With waiting -.- ... had to buy the stuff for the lid today and then boyfriend has to build the lid.
Last week one of the cavies at my parent's house had died and the last remaining one (neutered boar) should move to us, which he did - with his cage and all the stuff. His cage was a bit smaller than the one we had here and much easier to clean up, so I decided to exchange the cages (just saying: pain in the back!).
Two of the sows had moved to the cavies outside, so only 4 - three ladies and the boar - are in the house now, say hello to Quinn, Emma, Vierviertel and Tinsel.
And space!
Firstly I wanted my boyfriend to build me a table for another tank, but now I can have to large tanks side by side... space... hm, up to 120cm.
So we went two days ago - after I got my earnings - to buy this tank.
Stand in front of the tanks... boyfriend wanted to buy the 100x40x40-tank or much better, the 80x35x40 , but I told him something of ideal space usage, about the final size of A. reticulata and Ar. marginata suturalis and used the "puppy dog eyes" to convince him to get the larger one. He put it on the trolley, but was a bit angry... called me stupid, crazy, cow and such stuff. But all for the snails
Now it is here... want to have one of boyfriends masterpieces of lid-construction, but need to buy the stuff... eheheh... and it will be interesting how he builds it. Biggest lid with that construction was 80x35, but this tank is a bit bigger (120x40x50-tank)... we'll see and I will post photos
