Never! It will expand in in snails tummy and kill them. Snails are ONLY leaf, vegetable, fruit and berry eaters why try to give them something unnatural foods and make them unheatly. There is thousands of veges out there so they will be no problem what to give these guys.

I have heard that even two rices per snail is too much and expand inside of snail very badly 'cos snails boby is so warm. I like to give my animals only food that they would naturally eat. Other foods they can't digestion probably their bodies can't handle nutrision of wrong foods and can in long-term cause health problems and pain. Grains can make for snails some intestine blockages and be lethal sometimes. And in nature snail don't eat grain so I don't see any point in it to give snails that food even if would eat it. Snails always eat what the keeper decides, snail can't open the fridge by themselves.
