Yup, I buy only organic for my snails. However I do know of one keeper who would never buy organic and his snails thrive..... I tend to think it's less riskier buying organic, though it is more expensive. It's more of a nature-friendly method of farming, so other creature will benefit, whether it's better for our pet snails or not

I would like to buy organic but there's so less supply and demand of those I just wash them very well and some times peel and hope the best. I usually buy vegetables only snails and for me depending of growing season so they don't need use and poisons to get them grow in nature. When there's no real season to grow something and in winter some countries grow in greenhouses I try to avoid those vegetables and some food is only good in summer and autumn so I don't buy them in winter.

Hiya, frozen veg is fine as long as it's defrosted of course! The occasionaly spinach leaf shouldn't harm snails, mine have spinach from time to time. Snails also like tomatos, sweetcorn etc. Cabbage should be fine but mine are not interested in it. Sometimes when I give lettuce I put soggy gold-fish flakes on it. The snails love soggy fish food! I can't remember who first came up with that idea, but it seems to be a popular one

mine love fish food and algae wafers. I noticed they also have a fair bit of vit D in so they might help with calcium absorbtion especially in england where theyll prob get less UV

I don't like to give them spinach I read it has oxalic acid in them, but if you like to give don't give spinach too often. My snails like quite much of papaya, but it's almost cutted like hazardous waste 'cos i'm really allergic to it and even if that papaya touches a little something else I get reaction. So I usually have to seal knife somewhere waiting to get washed, lol. ;D I have picked up summer loads of leaves, so I think I give them mostly to snails and little bit some vegetables 'cos there's not too much vegetables in market at the moment.
