Have any of you ever taken a look at sea slugs? They're soo beautiful - such an array of colours - I remember when I was younger and sat in a biology exam one of the questions had a picture of a sea slug - got distracted for ages before I continued on with the exam hope its ok to post this here? wasn't sure if it was only a place to post pet slugs. here is just one picture but i really recommend searching for some on google - they're sooo pretty! <p>

Yeah I love sea-slugs, really funky colours. Fascinating creatures. I'd love to do a scuba dive somewhere and see them for myself in the wild.

Superb photos. Thanks Crossless. I think there's nudibranchs mentioned in another thread somewhere, I'll go and take a look. I'm trying to remember where their toxins come from. I know it's their food, and some are jellyfish and man-o-wars, but I'm not sure if they all obtain their toxins from jelly-fish type creatures.
Could it be then that captive bred nudibranchs wouldn't be toxic?

I know a guy that keeps a lot of species of sea slugs. He says that is hard work but well worth to do it. I think that in Atlantic Ocean thereĀ“s a lot of species.
