I have a small plastic tank in which I house my snailies, an exo-terra one with small groove holes in the top...basically 48hours ago I introduced earth worms into my tank...I came in toniight, and there all climbing through the holes and getting outta the tank in my room, what can I do to stop them ascaping :/ I won't sleep until I know, I don't want them getting out :/ as you can imagine :S Please help someone! (: Thanks

I can't cling film the lot though can I? Coz there'll suffocate :/ hmm..I panic'd and bought a very fine breathable fly net from eBay moments ago for £4.50...that'll stop em' maybe some pesky flies aswell xD, so yeah..it'll be 72hours before I have it though :/

Tape over the holes in the top? You could position the tape to leave only very very tiny holes. That's what I did when I put teeny tiny baby cepaea in a small plastic tank with holes in the lid

I have noo tape, I could go out and get some tommorow morning though :/, I'll have to try and get some sleep...surely there's something I could do right now?

teatowels with weights on top? or other such fine meshed covering devise - bed sheet etc infact you could wrap the sheet around the whole lot - the snails wont mind it being dark for a bit
