Hi team - just wondering if you leave the skins on things like sweet potatoe or take it off, as they are quite tough, but maybe the snails dont mind? cheers

I leave them on and slice it thinly and cut it in half they usally eat around the skin. But some do have a nibble.

I cut mine into thick slices, then quarter them, then put them in the tanks skin-side down. Sweet potato skin tends to get ignored by the snails. I find with cucumbers some snails actually prefer the skin, and some will just go for the tender bits near the cucumber seeds. Even sibling snails can have different tastes.

I bought today some kind of eddo root other name is taro root. Hmmh.. I slip it and it smell like anis and it's used as potato. And it's really moist and sticky. Hmmh.. I'll give a try what my snail gang likes about it.
