I'm starting sprouting again so I'm going to keep a list of which sprouted seeds my beasties have enjoyed (deliberately or accidentally).
Anyone else who feeds sprouted seeds - or forgot to take the seeds out of an apple core once, it doesn't matter how they got there ;D - please add what's been eaten and what's been ignored.
Enjoyed
Red cabbage pumpkin sunflower mung beans

I have read that millet swell up lot so should not give snails. I'm not sure about it and no one even tasted it when I offered some.

I know the seed isn't good for them, but do you think they'd turn it down sprouted? I can't see how it could do the same harm in live form....

I sprouted them. It was more like mash looking so I think nothing to worry about. Millet as it starts to grow and roots takes time to grow it was almost like porridge first, so no one liked it. If i find if more from cupboard I'll give a new try.

Intriguing... thanks I'm pretty sure there's one or two kinds of millet in the cupboard (behind the ones I actually eat - yay for bulgar wheat, amaranth and quinoa ) so now I'm thinking I'll try them on every grain in the house... there's oatgrass and wheatgrass somewhere too....
