hi all earlier today i was feeding my smaller snails,and discovered a web like substance on the substrate at first i thought it was mould but its more like a web,could a spider have got in the tank? didnt see one while i was checking the tank and the web wasnt there yesterday is this harmful to the snails?

It's just mould, don't worry, just lift it up from soil. Sometimes those furry white webs comes to tank from hidden food pieces nothing to worry. I just usually pick them up when I see them and try to keep most of the food in plate to avoid them. Nothing harmful for snails, my snails some times eat mouldy food and seem to enjoy it.

Yup... Even if it was a web, a web with a spider even, no worries.... It matters not ;D
