I've just fed these to my snails. They love them, I covered their food in them and they ate them off the top and ate some of their food aswell.
Is it true they can help snails get their appetite back? Also, is there any nutritional value in fish flakes for snails?

I think it depend which kind of food are you giving every food is not good quality. There vegetable fish food which is made from plants and there is too those which has protein in them. I like to give fish food snails for protein. Sometimes I have to give it just in case food i I forgot buy them new vegetables. I think fish flakes are great addition to diet it can be really dull if there not much selection in shops in winter. In Finland few snail keepers have to add for Archachatina species extra protein than to Achatinas one keepers has all the time problem that nother snail love to taste "his" tank mate and nother one has wounds quite often.
