Hi all. I got week ago gram scale, I love to play with it and I tried how much fulicas would eat in one day. Well I got interested results. I put food for 5fulicas group 63grams, they ate of it 34grams and for 3fulicas I put 50grams of food and they ate 26grams. So I counted that one fulica would eat about 6,8g to 8,6grams of food per day. Interesting. Some may have had fast day, so I'm not sure did everyone eat, but usually those snails at least get nibble of food everyday. Well it was so fun to try that I think I try this again someday.

Ah that's an interesting thing.
But I would think the amount of food would vary depending on what the food is. For example they eat large amounts of cucumber but not so much sweet potato, perhaps because sweet potato is filling and highly nutritious, but cucumber is mainly water, so is heavy but not so filling and not so nutritious.

I had in this one sweet potato, pepper and courgette. They ate all sweet potato and some courgette. I put about 15grams food per eater so they could choose what to eat and they eat the all time favorites first.
