One of my children introduced a Woodie to the Gals tank, over a year ago, I am now on the 2nd or 3rd generation of woodies living in the tank and thriving. Anyhoo, the Gals are fine and I appear to have a glut of woodies which as they are captive bread (apart from the origional adult which I assume is no longer with us although they do have a lifespan of 1-4 years .) they should be free of infection and parasites. They are excellent little cleaners the only side affect of having them in there is that all of my spring-tails have disappeared? I was not that keen on them anyway. If anyone wants a few let me know I am sure postage would be next to nothing.

Are these the normal ones you find under flags in the garden etc - or the smaller 'tropical' woodlice?? I can just about manage the small un's but have a bit of a phobia with the big-uns cheers
