Snail set-ups from peoplle around the forum. Hopefully this will be a helpful thread for those wishing to set up a tank for the first time, of for those looking for inspiration in habitat decoration/equipment.

I cut the perspex lid myself, there are only the tinyest gaps in it. ;D The tank below is the new Hadra and Pleurodonte tank, I thought I`d measure temps in there at first just to put my mind at ease. I`ve got 27c at the back and 19c at the front, cushdy ;D

I'm really pleased with the setup in my native snails tank atm I've got helix aspersa and cepaea hortensis living together. I have a Lucky Reptile Terra branch in there - I really recommend these for any snails smaller than medium fulicas, they are bendable and you can move them into any position or formation you like for the snails to climb on. Mine absolutely love theirs, they're always climbing on it and in combination with a small resin branch and a fake set of hanging leaves, they have plenty to clamber on! I got mine from eBay, they make excellent ornaments for tanks with smaller snails in
not finished yet getting some moss and prehaps a flower pot under the hideout

The retics enjoy the water from the waterfall more when it's switched off, the zanzibaricas often sit slime up and there when the water is running.
This was the reaction the waterfall got when I first put it in there....
My Cepaea tank, Most of the Cepaea will be released back where I found them in another couple of weeks.
This is an Oddments tank, snails that I don't want to have breed with other snails, therefore any eggs I find I know I'm going to freeze. I've just set this tank up so it's really bare at the moment. I shuffled them into this tank after I gave their tank to the 2nd generation A.fulica var. hamillei f. Rodatzi-Jade / Jadatzis which are now big enough to be let out of their little nursery tub.
I'll get them a proper hide to climb on or under and a waterdish soon.
Here's the 1st generation A.fulica var. hamillei f. Rodatzi-Jade tank.
Here's the 2nd generation A.fulica var. hamillei f. Rodatzi-Jade tank, having just let them out of their nursery tub. The majority of these will be off to new homes shortly...
Caracolus marginella tank, the water dish is left empty as they don't seem interested in bathing, but they are often found huddled in a mass in there, oddly enough, and they like to burrow under it to lay their eggs.
The A.fulica var. hamillei f. Rodatzi, A.lagos tank, also has an A marginta Sutralis (I think) with light grey skin. I bought that large fish tank ornament today, they used to have an artificial half-log which I've swapped around, having given a half-log to the 2nd Gen. Jadatzis. Anyway it's great but when I lifted the lid to feed and photograph the snails it smelled strongly of some sort of glue/resin. I've now taken it back out of the tank, don't want to gas the snails to death!
It's not as small as it looks this tank, but it's still a little crowded, so I plan on selling some more Rodatzis soon.
Here's Sampson and Goliath, my two huge Fulica, plus some adult and juvenile albino A. marginata ovum, an adult and a young A.reticulata. I may sell a couple of margies if it gets too crowded in there, but again it's not as crowded as it looks. Most of the time they're spread around the walls and lid as well as the ground.....
My Megalobulimus Oblongus haemastomus, (at the top) and Limicolaria flammea at the bottom, which I have just swapped around as I think the type of set-ups and sizes of the tanks are more appropriate now. The tub in the Limi tank is full of eggs ;D
