Hi all,
I know a few members on here have the Zabzibarica snails and I'm in the process of getting some Zanzibarica snails, not had them before and wondered what the best conditions for them would be. I can't find much info about them but have asked Emma Tarr who I'm getting them from and she recommends keeping tem in moist conditions and they prefer moss. Can I ask what you all keep your Zanzi's on and at what temp.
I have a smaller glass tank with a 7w mat not in use at the moment and wondered if that's suitable.
Can I also ask has anyone found the have a preference on food?
Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place, wasn't sure which section to post it in.
Thanks Jo xx

If you can get in touch with Ade he'd be best to ask, I think he was the main one people were getting zanzis from in the past. Never had any luck with mine i'm afraid, both lots died after a few months so I gave up. One thing I noticed is they love watermelon in small amounts

I had a similar experience to Rachel, getting in touch with Ade is a good idea. I could ask for you if you like?
I should also ask Emma some specific questions such as the temperature question, food etc. They're a beautiful species. Good luck with them x

Lol my snails like lettuce, white carrot(radish) , chye sim and carrots more. Carrots make their poop orange!
