Oh man, I have no idea, they've always nibbled at any apples I've offered. I must remind myself to find out if there's more to it.

The snails here eat pretty much any variety I put in there tank, there real fav is a really old rare variety of apple that I have an old tree growing of outside. This apple lasts a very short time when I put it in the tank and is eaten in preference to anything else where as the other kinds of apple can take 2 days to eat.

I will let you know once I have them love, but I tend to go for Braeburns or Galas so that will probably be the first apple they try.

So it seems like most of you are uncertain or don't notice a particular preference. Mine seem to like Galas a lot, but I wonder if they'd like golden delicious, Pink Lady or Piñata even more?
