Ha ha ha, that is amazing that she didn't notice them and I am sorry it caused an argument. I hated being at home and having to do as my parents said, most kids acceptrf it but I didn't. If I want something I want to be able to get it and not keep saying "Please may I" I couldn't be without my animals Kippen love, there is just one thing I want when I die, to be with animals, the thought of possibly not being with them really frightens me. Ha ha, I too love to watch them eat, everything has such a cute little mouth.

Yes of course love, I sure she is a great mum. Yes, animals are a life source, I would rather be dead than without them so I really understand what you are saying. It sounds as if you have had some kind of a crisis in your life and if so hunny I am very sorry. We will keep chatting away on here as really good friends do and are very glad you have joined us.

Would anyone be interested in buying some Indian stick insects from me?... I haven't got any available at the moment but have been incubating some for myself for when my current ones pass so wanted to know whether I should incubate extra. I don't want to have a repeat of last year when I incubated extra with the intention of selling then realising that nobody wanted any, leaving me with a very overpopulated tank. So I'm asking around before I decide! I don't know any of the details yet like cost or shipping... but shouldn't be a problem if your in the uk. Please let me know if you'd be interested... then I know how many extra eggs to incubate!! ... Will sell in no less than triplets as I believe them to be social creatures doing better in groups, but if you want more than that let me know... of even if u you just want some info

Sorry love, I don't know how I missed this. I have kept stick insects before and I adore them but am I right in thinking that the Indian ones are the very thin ones whereas I prefer the fat bodied ones like the Giant Spiney or McLeays Spectre?

Yer... they the skinniest of the sticks!!! This is one of my adults... nearly a year old... and one of the babies... three days old!! Compared to my hand if anyone wanted to know what they look like and rough size!! Adult is missing a back leg... in case u were wondering. All babies in tip top shape still tho!!

What sort of a set up would I need for this type of sticky love? I know they eat bramble so I would be sending Paul out for that on a regular basis LOL!!

My tank is 30cm wide, 30cm deep and 45cm tall...it's exo-terra... think the small tall one but not sure I can keep about 30 adults in there at a push... but usually have no more than 15! They can't go in there as nymphs as they can get lost so I keep them in a small plastic container... about 10/8/18 until they are about 3cm long so they won't get lost in big tank! They can reach up to 12cm in length so as long as the tank is three times the height and twice the width it should be fine... although it wouldn't do any harm to add a couple extra cm for more than one stick...

The thing is hunny I cannot afford another tank at the moment and the spare one I have I have to keep in case I need it for the snailies. In any case, it wouldn't be tall enough. I know the sort of tall Exo Terra tank you mean love, I have seen it on the website. I would love some stickies again though, I miss them. I also miss my Praying Mantids Hugs Jo xx
