Apparently Halonen isn't worried at all that someone would hurt her, and doesn't bother to drag her shell along. I never knew she was so long, though! Attachments:

Thanks! Yes I tell her that a lot. I just wonder where all that snail came from, and where did it go when she retracted again! Being boneless has its strange advantages I guess!

Yeah, they go fully in and still have a functional lung AND a hundred (or a few hundred) eggs! Are their feet inflatable or something?! (Not entirely kidding, as a dehydrated snail shrinks. Still the water would have to be kept somewhere, as on macro level, liquid can't be compressed. Hmmmmmm. So mysterious!)
