Hi guys, I'm trying to create a more natural environment for the snailies, buying thermostats and light controls etc, and I compiled a list of average sunrise/sunset, and temperature by month in 2015 in Mozambique, as it was the easiest East African Nation to find the info for. Thought others might like the info so here it is Feel free to say if I've made a mistake etc Month | Sunrise (am) | Sunset (pm) | Average Temperature (C) | January | 5.00 | 6.30 | 25.5 | February | 5.30 | 6.30 | 26 | March | 5.40 | 6.10 | 25.5 | April | 6.00 | 5.30 | 24 | May | 6.20 | 5.10 | 21.5 | June | 6.30 | 5.05 | 19.5 | July | 6.40 | 5.10 | 19.5 | August | 6.30 | 5.20 | 20.5 | September | 6.00 | 5.40 | 21.5 | October | 5.30 | 5.50 | 23 | November | 5.00 | 6.00 | 24 | December | 4.50 | 6.30 | 25.5 |

Haha, seems that some of my snails follow pretty much exactly that rhythm, regardless of my lighting set up. I might set it up to go dark earlier now, though. Interesting that the length of the day is nearly the same all year, says this Finn whose day length varies between a couple hours and over 20 hours.
