I have my little Pygmy Hedgehog now, Timmy Tickle-Toes and he is adorable. A bit huffy at the moment but it is all strange to him at the moment and he has to learn to trust us. Hugs JO xx

Nice one Jo, My father rescued a Pygmy hedge hog yrs ago she became the love of his life and would follow him anywhere. One day she got out her house n outta the downstairs room she then walked down the hall, climbed the stairs and up into his bed room. My father sleeps on the floor due to his bad back n when he woke in the morning she was cuddled up in a ball under his chin.
She died last year a very old headge hog, but he cant bring himself to get another one. If a rescue one comes his way he will take it on but thats all he can allow himself to do.
He has some great memories of her terroising the Tortouse he rescued as well lol they had a love hate relationship but at least he now gets to eat in peace.

That is a lovely story Zorst love but very sad, I can imagine how much your dad misses him. They can be absolutely gorgeous but we are having a few problems with Timmy at the moment and I just hope he gets used to us. He is very huffy and biting but I have been assured by the lady who bred him that ths will pass. That is the trouble when you lose a much loved pet like that, it can leave you reluctant to get another. Oh bless the torty, they live for years don't they? I have always loved them too.
