Hey. I hope so too. Our little community has indeed been very quiet lately. Maybe everyone is just having busy summer days.

Sorry Etana my sweetie, I missed this post. I don't know how I did except for the fact that I am dozy lol.
I know people have busy lives and can't always get on here but I just want to know that everyone is alright. I know I am a bit of a mother hen, but I am just concerned.

It has been very quiet on here, lately. I've been busy with my studies, and work. But I'm doing okay, my snails are doing very well, and I have a new addition (a leopard gecko).

Thanks so much for your post Mutatboy love and I figured that people were busy doing something like studying. I am just glad that you are OK. I have had leopard Geckos in the past, they are just so adorable. They give you kisses and seem to love being petted. What is his/her name?

Oh Mutant Boy love, she is just gorgeous. They are such adorable gentle little things and they feel like velvet when you touch them. I also love the way they kiss you to get your scent. Please give Scout a kiss and hug from her Auntie Jo Jo.

Thanks!
On the day I got her she'd just been brought back from a reptile convention in Germany, so she was understandably quite stressed and it has taken her a couple of weeks to settle in, but now she climbs out onto my hand every evening and I can see how her confidence and trust is growing.

You rescued her sweetie and that is just wonderful. It will take her time to settle in and trust but she probably realises she has found a fantastic home. I used to rub noses with mine and they used to lick it. Cuteness overload. Please keep us updated.

Scout is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for posting, Mutantboy! I have landed the perfect summer job looking after really tame peacocks and some other birds and animals. Their owner (my boss) appreciates giant snails too, we had a laugh over what happens when you feed them a rotting fruit. It's not physically too bad as it's not full time, work never starts before 10am (yay no mega early mornings!), I get to learn a lot about many animals and do things I've never done before such as hold birds in my hands/arms, and it's a 5 minute walk to work so it's exactly what I needed right now. Only thing that worries me is that someone bit really badly into Maija's tail. I took her and a bunch of snails I know for a fact to be friendly to a different tank. She is stressed from the move and I hope she survives. She is already 4 years old.

That sounds geat Etana love, may I come and join you please? I have never known tame peacocks, all the ones I have tried to pet have run off. It is nice that you can chat about snails to your boss lovey and it is going to be lovely cuddling all the different little animals. Please keep me posted. That was mean of someone to bite Maija's, I really hope she gets over the shock soon sweetie. I didn't know they were mean to each other or was it an accident of some kind?
