just been to check on my Iredalei and found these little jelly balls/eggs in teh corrner of their tank any ideas what they are? i thought it was kids buggering about but there is no way they could have got into the room let alone into the tank they feel really soft almost like frogs spawn are they undeveloped eggs that have not been fertilized? so not grown into baby snails to be born in confused any help please ?

Im sure ive seen something similar posted on petsnails ages ago, I think they'd be undeveloped Snails, as iredalei dont lay eggs.

Perhaps the parent ejected the eggs too soon as they should hatch inside her and be born as an actual snail. I've seen jelly eggs from other species as snails sometimes lay a small clutch of infertile 'practise' eggs. It may be worth incubating them to see if anything hatches but in my own opinion it's doubtful, unless someone else has had different experiences with these jelly-eggs? xx
