I just noticed one of my snails has the very tip of its shell broken, it's at the bit where they go white and it's the very last twist, only a mm or so of shell but there is an actual hole. It's got some earth in it tightly packed where he's been buried, should I do anything about that or will it heal up as he grows?
I've never seen this before, i'm guessing it's not been caused by another snail but by knocking it against the glass or it just being fragile? The rest of the shell is in perfect condition and he seems healthy and fine but I'm just asking as I've never seen this before.

That part will usually not heal but that's not a problem and you don't have to do anything about it.

Ok thanks I'm guessing that that hole doesn't go right through the shell, I mean it's blocked off by the spiral shape..if that makes any sense?
