Just noticed 7 massive eggs in with my ventricosa, I'll be keeping them in another container within the main tank, slightly under the substrate, hopefully as many hatch as possible.

Keep the substrate nice and wet they seem to hatch better like that.

The eggs still havent hatched, though should be due to hatch in the next couple of weeks hopefully. Two of them has turned quite red, so dont think they will hatch unfortunatly, though I am still keeping hold of them incase they do.

excellent news! I'm thinking about doing the same next time my Margies and/or Largos lay, as I've had a poor success rate with them in nice warm moist tubs. Dunno why.

I think i'll leave the eggs next time I notice any, hopefully it'll increase the chances of them hatching.
