I was sent some Rodatzi eggs and I've carefully tended them for about three weeks now and nothing - not a sausage. So last night I moved them on top of the gas fire and guess what? One has just hatched! Hurrah!!!!
I feel like a new mum (not that I've ever been one, but hey, this is the closest I may get!)
One hatched, 49 to go..... ;D

yay congratulations Well, they need to have access to their shells as it's beneficial for them to et the shells. Food can be introduced straight away, though they probably won't start eating for a few days they will eat what ever the parenst eat, and shouldn't have any problems. If kept warm (as they are being) then that should aid their growth xx

Up to 8 now..... I'm leaving them all together and have left some food in there for them, just in case. They are absolutely amazing aren't they? Tiny, tiny little embryonic snailies. Just perfect!

Yes they're like tiny pearls, all see-through and perfect. It's so hard to imagine them eventually growing so huge, but yes, they are gorgeous babies, congratulations.
Good close-ups by the way, what sort of camera do you have (if you don't mind me asking), mine doesn't do great close-ups.
