Hi just before I sold my large breeding pair of fulis I kept some eggs. I checked today and they have hatched. They are already in a small tank with some of my smaller snailies we I say small I have a 2" tiger in their. Should I leave them in or put them in a tank on their own. They look like they have only just hatched and don't want to move them yet unless I need to. I assume they will work their way up through the compost and moss. I have taken some of the moss off to help them get through to the surface. Is that ok? This is my first batch of eggs so any ideas would be much appreciated. Hehehehehehe ;D

I'm so happy, one of the teeny babies has made it's way to the top of the tank. Can't believe the size of it. It's so cute sorry I'm gushing I know but it's my first hatchling. Should I leave it in the the others especially the 2" Tiger. I know he's not a big snail but he's huge compared to the babies. x

Opinions vary, I am not sure thyere's a right or wrong.
I have personally raised babies with ans without the presence of older snails, but on reflection I think it's best to place them in a small nursery for a while. It may be worth scooping the entire lot up, icluding shells as the snails will benefit from eating these, and placing them in a small nursery tank, or even a ventilated tub within the main tank. They will have the benefit of being able to easily reach food without crawling far and there will be no risk of an older snail accidentily harming them.

Hi, Your a mind of great info. I have found one crawling on the top of the tank. I've taken the bigger snailies out but think I will try and move them. It will deff be easier for them to get to the food. Thanks again x
