Hi all wondering if anybody could identify these snails i have. I have just found about 20 small round white eggs in the soil. And im just windering what im hatching. They are in a plastic container with some airholes. Buried in the soil next to the V-BOX thanx to all that can help Pictures. Some eggs u can see have better pics looking for lead. Have had these about 2 months now Found eggs today Thnx

difficult to tell for sure from the pics, but they look like a Cepaea sp. either nemoralis or hortensis.

Thnx well i will have lotsa babys soon . Well like 20 - 30 of them . Im hoping they hatch

Well it looks like you have both species of Cepaea in there, so I suppose the eggs could have come from either species. Good luck with them

the snail in the third picture is Cepaea nemoralis because it has a dark lip (the edge of the shell at the opening where the body comes out). I can't tell what the snails in the fourth picture are, you'll have to see if the lip is dark or white (the one on the right is juvenile so you won't be able to tell until it's adult). Cepaea eggs are quite easy to hatch. Good luck
