I think they generally have a high hatch rate of around 80% or more, but I've not hatched very many clutches myself..... Sometimes you get a batch that doesn't hatch well, and sometimes the entire batch fails. Other times it's almost 100%. There's various factors, sometimes I think you can get individual snails that just aren't very good at laying fertile eggs, but sometimes it's the condition the eggs are kept in. If it's a very high or low temperature, if they've been shuffled around alot, if they've been too wet or dry of the heat has changed alot these can be factors in a poor hatch rate. I would normally expect a higher hatch rate than the ones in your clutches, but it's not unusual either.

i left them in the tank for about a week, and the snails was all over them, so i decided to remove them which was quiet tricky but then left them on the side...my snails are stil quiet young, there not a year old yet....

the first batch of eggs can often be non viable, i have had quite a few snails do this , retics are terrible for it. My Limicolaria Flammea laid a dud first batch of around 10 eggs as well.

its not always a problem when the parents are young. My toffee and fudge gave me about 150 babies at 8 1/2 months old. Sometimes eggs are infertile.

I have noticed that odd number of snails CAN all lay eggs, in my case all of my 5 fulicas layied eggs and on Thurday I noticed Femi trying to mate with someone and she had already eggs inside of her be forming! How weird.

Perhaps it has something to do with snails being able to store sperm within themselves. Maybe eggs started to develop from a previous mating.
