A lovely sight - I have just this minute seen my f2 white jade x rodatzi eggs starting to hatch I'm so glad they were laid right against the perspex - I get an excellent view without disturbing them. With any luck this lot'll show a variety of colour patterns - I see a couple of definite darkskins so far. Wish me a few vollalbinos/f. jadatzis

White jade is the common name for achatina fulica with albino (white) bodies. Rodatzi are a form of fulica with plain yellow shells. If you breed the two forms, the first generation looks like normal fulica (brown bodied, brown striped shells) but there's a chance that in the second generation they'll produce some babies that look like their grandparents and some that have both white bodies and yellow shells - very pretty
