I lost one of my big Retics a little while back and now I`ve noticed the other big one has a dodgy looking foot It`s not a one off, I`ve been watching it for a week. His foot hasn`t always looked like this, the blotchy orange colour really doesn`t look good to me at all, I wonder if this one`s on his way out as well.... Has anyone else seen this in Retics?

I haven't seen anything like it in any species How very odd. Is it swollen or sensitive to the touch, or just miscoloured?

Absolutely. Some of mine are more prone than others. I'm guessing they've had sweet potato in their diet? Mine go orange (but only in retics) after giving them sweet potato, and the orange never fades. It doesn't appear to bother them at all, I think it's just pigment from their food. I don't know if you recall my first trio of retics, Great, Googly and Moogly, but one of them had a very bright orange foot for most of it's time with me, and lived for ages (lived until it laid eggs, then it died). One of my current retics has an orange foot, which happened shortly after I introduced sweet potato to it's diet. I am not in the least bit concerned and it's behaving completly normally.

Oh, that is fascinating I'm glad it's not a problem after all.
