hi all was just doing a bit of spot cleaning in my snail tank and found a whole lot of eggs! dont know if theyre from the fulis or margis,can you tell the difference between the eggs? 2 have actualy hatched ;D but i really dont want any more snailies,dont want to freeze them but i suppose its got to be done not unless anyone wants any teeny tiny snailies? ;D ;D of dubious heritage lol

If they're tiny they'll be from your fulicas. Margie eggs are around 1.5 cm long and in clutches of 5-8 usually.

Margie eggs are about 2cm long and laid in clutches of about 6-8. Fulica eggs are 4-5mm long and laid in clutches of 150+. There's no way to confuse the two ETA: lol snap posting

hi i decided to freeze them i have lots of snails already and 2 are babies ,my daughter wanted to keep them all aww

Aww.. I know your feeling, I have moment 11adults. Nice that 3of then are waking up from hibernation so I don't lose my mind yet with egg hunt.
