POTM (yes I'll get back into running the POTMs) Lovely photos. I'm not very experienced with retic eggs, but I'm wondering if perhaps they're a little bit too small to be retic eggs? Sorry.

Thanks for the POTMs!
Hmm, please don't say that about the eggs! The only snail other than the retics that I've got in there is a small fulica. I've seen the retics breeding, laying, dropping random eggs and 'pregnant'. This would probably have been the first clutch any of them laid though, first proper clutch. The eggs pictured are definitely the same size as the ones I've actually witnessed the retics laying and I'm sure they're bigger than the ones my fulicas laid all those years ago. Here's hoping that they're not baby fulicas!

Ah well sounds like you have retics then! Sorry that I worried you. I remember my retics laying and the eggs looked a bit bigger I think, but perhaps it varies. None of mine hatched though. Oooh congratulations. They really are very sweet

Thanks AlienSnail. I thought they'd be bigger too - maybe it was a first clutch each thing? They're getting quite active now and looking even sweeter. Any idea how long before you can tell which will be albino and which will be dark? Congratulations, I suppose, but what on earth are you going to do with 110 snails!!!!!!!! (Loved the photos! ) Haha! I know - a lot! I have homes lined up for some and a reptile shop that wants a load - both once they've grown on some, obviously. I'll probably offer some here too and maybe on the other reptile forums I'm part of. I can't forsee it being too much of a problem and I'm happy to keep them for as long as necessary. I won't be purposefully hatching out any more though for a while
