Yeah I'm betting they are fulica, though you won't be able to tell if they are 'standard' fulica or hamillei (sorry Gem).
Can you see a raised 'v' on the tail of the snail? Tiger snails have this.
It's not unusual for sellers to sell their fulica as tigers, either deliberately as we've found before now, or accidentily. Either way, it's quite annoying, even though yopu do have beautiful new snails they're not what you expected.

Mine are hamellei cross so they don't look like standard fulica, they are crossed with rodatzi, I will get pics uploaded so you can have a look. x

probably a fuli. does anyone else think it could be a retic though? how exciting i look forward to seeing it.
stix: i am fairly certain (i'm sure i will be corrected if wrong) that rodatzi is a form of hamellei. i.e. a rodatzi is still a hamellei so they dont classify as a cross. a bit like a golden and black labradors, they are both still labradors. I think the genetics for hamelli is even less pronounced than the case of the labradors, two normal looking hamelli can produce rodatzis and i think two rodatzis can produce hamellei (not so sure on the second point) unless you mean it's a rodatzi cross 'normal' fulica, in which case ignore me. usually best to ignore me anway. cake is great ;D
